Peter E. Itzler
For over two decades, Peter Itzler has devoted his law practice to civil litigation with the goal of obtaining justice and fair compensation for those people that have been injured by the negligence of others. He has challenged individuals, partnerships, corporations and municipalities and sought to hold them responsible for their negligence. He has represented clients injured in all sorts of motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, wrongful death claims, trucking accidents, bus accidents, slip and fall cases, negligent security cases, assault and battery matters, libel and slander matters, medical malpractice matters and breach of insurance contract claims. Mr. Itzler intentionally limits the size of his practice in order to handle each of his clients' matters personally.
Mr. Itzler is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, The Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, Florida Justice Association, formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and The Academy of Trial Lawyers of America. He is licensed to practice in Florida State Courts and in the United States District Court for Florida.
Mr. Itzler has served for more than a decade as a member of the Board of Directors of the Soref Jewish Community Center in Sunrise, Florida. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School in Aventura, Florida and of the Ars Flors Symphony Orchestra. He is presently a Board Member of the Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans. Mr. Itzler and his wife served as foster parents for three years. They are the proud parents of three daughters.
Mr. Itzler is a graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law where he was selected to the Honor Council. He has been in private practice since 1984 and formed Itzler & Itzler, P.A. with his wife, Ellen, in 2000.
